Sales Training

Just thinking of developing my own Sales Training Materials.

It would be difficult to achieve because nothing is new in selling, but there’s great demand out there.

The usual stuff. Basic Sales Skills(Questioning, Listening, Summarising, Objectives, Closing)

Negotiation, Presentations, Call Reluctance, Benefits, Account Planning, Solution Selling

Funnel Management, Forecasting, Networking.  Have I missed any?  I can do those as well.

Personally I think all Selling falls into 3 Key Areas: Qualifying  Networking  Rapport

And there’s also Self-Development

There’s nothing new in selling it’s just dressing it up differently and adding some anecdotes

Big Talks

I love doing the Big Talks.  Large and Small audiences.

Subjects – The Future of the Internet.  Future Technology.  Future Business Trends.  People Development. What is Good Selling?

Done a few big Sales Conferences (250+ people).  Done a few small Senior Executive groups

TGtips Website

This website of course.  Not a money spinner yet (at all).  A good networking medium and a means of gathering my thoughts together and expressing them.  In the near future I’d like to have at least 100 regular readers per day (I may already have that but I haven’t put any monitoring tools on yet).

The future of the Internet may be Micropayments, the ability to pay 1pence/cent per viewing or per day.  I’d love to have a daily audience of 100,000 and have them willingly pay 1pence/cent for my excellent content!

Goal Coach

Having trained people in my Less=More method. I've started writing up my ideas on this and how to change your life. It's changed my life, I'm living in Melbourne now and I've a baby on the way!

Most people can't see the light at the end of the tunnel when setting a goal. They give up after a few steps, a few weeks, February into their New Year's resolutions.

I'll show you a different way to realise your dreams, which works. Contact me now!

Sales Coach

Those who sell, those who would like to sell, those who think they can't sell, those who hate salespeople. Contact me now!

Dating Coach

You're not going to believe it, but some of the techniques used in Selling, work with Dating. I've successfully coached people into meeting the right person. How many frogs will you have to kiss to meet the right prince/princess? I know the answer.

Wouldn't it be great if we had a coach on our shoulder.  An independent voice that would give good advice, sound advice, unbiased advice. Just someone you could talk to immediately. Someone who could guide you in your career, maybe even take care of some of the career things you don't like doing. Looking after your interests. Your career agent if you like. Future Projects

Sales Training Material

There is definitely a demand out there of Sales Training Material that is original and doesn’t cost a fortune to licence.

There’s the basics of course, but I have a few idea for some different approaches to selling.

Website Business

Of course the clever money is in creating a website that generates money automatically.

All suggestions welcome!

Less=More

From my experience of working with clients and training people, I’ve come to the conclusion that very few methods work and have a lasting effect.  I’ve developed my own method in workshops called Less=More, and I’m currently in the process of writing up this process into a book.

Talent Solutions

What really makes a difference in our work environment?   How can employees develop themselves and at the same time companies know that they are investing in their employees and helping them develop.  One way is using the Web and Intranet more effectively. I’m working in conjunction with a company called Talent Solutions (a developer of browser based employee development tools), to build systems that are compelling to use and really work.

Video is the Future for e-learning

Most e-learning and for that matter most web-sites are dull and uninspiring.  Why is that?  Firstly, most of us don’t think and learn in text, one page at a time.  So what’s the answer?  I don’t know yet, but I’m working on it.  I’ll let you know when I have the answer.

What I do know is that we go home every night and watch something that is 40 years ahead of most things, most of us do at work and school.  It called the TV.  How can e-learning and other training mediums be any good when they are competing with the quality of television as a medium?  Video has to be the future of learning, where face-to-face contact is limited, by geography or economics.

Editing of the last 70 years output into small learning bites, web-casting, video-conferencing, virtual reality.  I’m thinking about it and I’m working on it.

Watch this space.
